Luminia · The Italian School of Light

We don't make lamps.
We compose light.

LUMINIA is an Italian lighting marque born of the Milanese design tradition: light treated as material, proportion treated as law, and a room treated as a stage. Every chandelier begins as a drawing — long before it is ever switched on.

Philosophy / La Filosofia

Three laws of the atelier

A light fixture is the only object in a room you look at twice: once when it is off, once when it is on. It must be beautiful both times. Everything we draw obeys three laws.

Luce

Light first

We design the light before the object: its warmth, its geometry, the shadows it draws on a wall. The fixture is only the instrument — light is the work.

Proporzione

Proportion

A chandelier lives in dialogue with the room. Diameters, drops and rhythms follow the proportions of the space — never the fashion of the season.

Materia

Honest material

Aluminium that feels cool, acrylic that carries light like glass, finishes that age with grace. Material is never disguised — it is celebrated.

The Story / La Storia

A courtyard atelier in Milano

The LUMINIA legend begins in a courtyard atelier in Milan — a city where design is not a profession but a dialect. There, so the story goes, a small circle of draughtsmen and glass artisans kept a single rule pinned above the drawing table: no fixture leaves the atelier before its light has been drawn by hand — the beam, the warmth, the shadow it casts at dinner and at midnight.

From the glassmakers they took reverence for material that carries light; from the architects — the discipline of proportion. The marque that grew from that atelier still works the same way: first the light, then the object. Every LUMINIA collection starts as a numbered tavola — a hand-drawn study — before it becomes aluminium, acrylic and glow.

Cap. I

L'Atelier

It begins with paper, wire and patience: light studies drawn by hand in a Milanese courtyard, numbered like works of art.

Cap. II

La Materia

The artisans' lesson: material must carry light, not fight it. Metal, glass and acrylic chosen for how they glow, not how they gleam.

Cap. III

La Serie

The studies become collections: modern LED technology, dimmable warmth, smart control — with the atelier's proportions untouched.

Oggi

Today

LUMINIA lights homes across markets — and every new piece still starts the old way: as a drawing of light.

Tutta la luce
The Range / Tutta la Luce

One house. All the light.

We are not a catalogue of lamps — we are a school of light. A crystal chandelier over the table, a quiet ring in the hallway, hidden beams on the art, a warm applique by the mirror: every register a room can speak, drawn by the same hand.

La Classica

The Italian classic

Crystal, glass and brass — the old grammar of the chandelier: facets that split light into ceremony, proportions inherited from palazzo ceilings.

La Tecnologia

The modern craft

Long-life LED, warmth you can tune from 3000 to 6000 K, brightness that dims to a whisper — and every scene answering to remote, phone or voice.

Gli Spazi
Where light lives / Gli Spazi

Light for every kind of room

The same school of light, tuned to very different stages: a family dinner, a boutique window, a studio desk, an architect's section drawing.

Casa

Private homes

Chandeliers and warm scenes for living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens — light that follows the family's evening.

Commercio

Commercial spaces

Boutiques, restaurants, salons and hotels — designer light that sells the atmosphere before the product.

Studio

Offices & studios

Clear, even, tunable working light — spots and cylinders that keep focus without fatigue.

Progetti

Designer projects

Custom compositions with architects and interior designers — light drawn into the project from the first sketch.

The Light / La Luce

Warmth is a setting, not a compromise

Every LUMINIA fixture carries the full register of white light — from candlelit warmth to studio clarity — and answers to your hand, your remote or your voice.

Dimmable to a whisper

From full brilliance to a candle's murmur — brightness follows the hour of the evening, not the flick of a switch.

Answers to your hand

Remote, smartphone or voice assistant — the scene changes without anyone leaving the table.

Scenes for living

Dinner, reading, cinema, morning — three registers of white and memory for the moments you return to.

What the name promises

The LUMINIA name on a fixture is a signature — and a signature is only worth what stands behind it.

Every piece numbered

Each collection begins as a numbered tavola; each batch is traced back to its drawing and its inspection.

Lit twice before it ships

Every fixture is switched on twice — on the line and before dispatch. A light that has never burned never leaves.

50k

Hours of LED life

Long-life LED sources and honest drivers, engineered for years of evenings — not seasons.

Timeless by design

No seasonal fashions, no loud gestures. Pieces drawn to belong to a room for as long as the room stands.

Manifesto / La Nostra Parola

A room is remembered by its light — long after the furniture is forgotten.

That is what we make: not fixtures, but the way an evening feels. The rest is just wiring.
